Büllingen – in the High Eifel
Economy:
A third of the community’s area is forested. Therefore, the wood and forest industries hold an important place. Besides sawmills, carpentry shops and the furniture industry, tourism is another important factor. Bülligen is part of the nature preserve of Ardennes-Eifel. The community counts several transportation and construction companies as well as a company for the manufacture of trailers.
The military training area of Elsenborn is partially located on Büllingen community property.
